How It Works
Fabric’s Handcrafted Color Kits are not your average boxed at-home hair color stocked on the shelves at your local drug store. Nor are they pulled from a storage room at our shop. Our DIY hair color kits are customized for you at our Tampa color lab, vacuumed packed, and everything you need to achieve salon-colored hair is sent directly to your home!
Step 1: Schedule a virtual consultation.
After you fill out our online consultation form, we will contact you to schedule a live video chat. We will ask you a series of questions about your coloring, current hue, hair texture and length, what treatments you’ve done (i.e. keratin, coloring, etc.), and any changes you’d like to make to your existing color.
Based on the information gathered from your consultation, we will suggest the products and colors that would work best for you.
Step 2: Experts craft your color.
Once your order has been placed, our expert colorists get to work creating your unique custom salon formula. Throughout this process, you are more than welcome to schedule a live video-chat with your color consultant! In fact, we may contact you with additional tips and suggestions on how to get the exact look you want.
Step 3: Your order is delivered.
Typically, you will receive your custom at-home color kit within three to five business days after purchase. Prior to applying the product, we suggest one more final video-chat so that we can answer any questions you may have.

Whether you wish to touch up your existing hair color or cover grays at home, our line of Handcrafted Hair Color Products has something for you. Here is a brief rundown of our product offering:
Retouch Kit with Tools: This is the official “starter kit” for maintaining color at your home. This kit includes your customized color, bowl, brush, gloves, and other disposable tools you need to successfully apply color at home. Make sure to keep the application tools for future use!
Retouch Refill: Purchase this kit AFTER you have used the Retouch Kit. The Retouch Refill only includes your customized color and developer, gloves, stain guard, and cap. The application tools are NOT included.
Toner Kit: When you just need some gloss over your existing color, this is the kit for you! This liquid toner is used to gently alter the tone of your hair.
Custom Color Refresher: Use this deep conditioner to reverse fade on any hair color or tone or to enhance your own natural shade!
